February 17, 2010 — LAVALE — Patricia Ann Mould, 70, of LaVale, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at her home.
Born June 29, 1939, in Johnstown, Pa., Mrs. Mould was the daughter of the late Nicholas Emery Mihalic and Helen Marie (Vrabel) Mihalic. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, David E. Albright Sr.
A graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School, class of 1957, Patricia also graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1960. She was a Registered Nurse at the old Sacred Heart Hospital on Decatur Street and moved to the new facility until her retirement in 1997. Patricia was a member of Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church; the Church Bell Choir; and W.E.L.C.A. She was active in the social group of the LaVale United Methodist Church. She was past President of the Auxiliary to the Allegany County Medical Society, a member of the Allegany County Museum, and the Cumberland Garden Club. She also enjoyed traveling and playing golf.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 13 years, L. Louis Mould, M.D.; her sons, David E. Albright, Jr., of Evansville, Ind., and E. Craig Albright, of Shrewsbury, Pa.; and her sister, Helen Marie Marrewa, of San Diego, Calif. She is also survived by her extended family, John L. Mould, his wife, Kathy and their two sons, Garrett and Keegan, of Overland Park, Kan., Pamela L. Hempel, her husband, Allan and their son, Geoffrey and his wife, Erin, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Allison Colbert, her husband, Gregory and their daughter, Helena, of Winchester, Mass.
A memorial service will be conducted in the Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Stephen Yelovich officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be private in Sunset Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center and Home Hospice and especially to Dr. Zaman.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 182 North Mechanic St., Cumberland, MD 21502.
