Maranda Lynn Bergdoll Glenn [LaVale]

February 17, 2010 — LAVALE — Maranda Lynn Bergdoll Glenn, 25, of LaVale, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010.

Born May 16, 1984, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Susan Ann (Magruder) Hinkle, of LaVale, and Richard Lee Bergdoll, of Cumberland.

In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her stepfather, Steven Hinkle, of LaVale; her two children,  Cameron Lloyd and Madison Rose Glenn; her sister, Tiffany Ann Fenton and husband Steven, of Bel Air; her stepsister, Nikki Olinger, of LaVale; maternal grandmother, Judy Ann Williams and husband Robert, of Cumberland; maternal grandfather, Wayne Ma-gruder, of Ridgeley, W.Va.; a nephew Connor Fenton; two nieces, Erin and Autumn Olinger; aunts and uncles, Debbie Keister, of Fort Ashby, Rod and Debbie Hinkle, of Flintstone, Thelma Bergdoll, of Silver Spring, and Wanda Bergdoll, of Cumberland.

Maranda was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Homer and Virginia Martz; a great-uncle, David Martz; and her beloved cat, Cuddles.

She had attended LaVale United Methodist Church.

Maranda enjoyed art, especially drawing and watercolors. Photography was a hobby that allowed her to capture family and friends on film.

Family was important to Maranda. She always wanted everyone in her family to come together as one solid unit -sharing in love, support, and understanding. Her mother and aunt, Debbie Keister, played a major role in her life, providing guidance and direction.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bernadette Ross officiating.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
