CUMBERLAND — Autumn Marie Vanetta and Samuel Clayton Moyer were united in marriage Oct. 22, 2011. The double ring ceremony took place at Bethel Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. David Dayhoff, friend and minister of the family, officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond E. and Justina S. Vanetta of Cumberland. She is the granddaughter of David E. and Mary M. Lease and Marie Vanetta and the late Raymond E. Vanetta Sr. The groom is the son of Orville K. and Victoria A. Moyer of Cumberland. He is the grandson of Sarah J. and Marvin L. Elbin and the late James A. Stokes and Arble C. and Hilda N. Moyer.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white strapless taffeta draped A-line gown from David’s Bridal. The gown featured beaded lace appliques on the bodice and skirt and a corset back that laced down to a chapel train. Her hair was styled by Lori Redinger from Hairway and featured a two-tier beaded scallop-edged veil. The bride’s jewelry consisted of a pearl necklace and set of pearl drop earrings handmade by her aunt, Linda Campbell. She carried a bouquet of burgundy roses, ivory hydrangeas and orange calla lilies intertwined with fall berries.
Denise Call, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Corley, Olivia Ackerson and Rachel Meckley, all friends of the bride. Riena Freeman, niece of the groom, served as the flower girl. The bridesmaids wore strapless tea-length burnt orange satin dresses with merlot sashes and the matron of honor wore a merlot satin dress with a burnt orange sash from David’s Bridal. They each carried bouquets of burgundy roses and ivory hydrangeas.
The groom wore a black tuxedo with a white vest and tie.
Michael Moyer, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Freeman, brother-in-law of the groom, John Reuschel, brother-in-law of the groom, and Brian Campbell, cousin of the bride. Carter Call, cousin of the bride, served as the ring bearer. The best man wore a black tuxedo with a merlot vest and tie and the groomsmen wore black tuxedos with burnt orange vests and ties.
The music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Judy Lowery. Photography for the day was provided by Tharp Photography and videography was done by Valley Visions Video.
A reception immediately followed at the Cumberland Country Club. A buffet-style dinner was catered by the Cumberland Country Club. The three-tier fountain wedding cake featured four side cakes with roses and calla lilies created by Shelby Gable.
DJ Mac provided the evening’s entertainment. The bride and groom danced their first dance as husband and wife to Jason Walker’s “You Fill My Heart.” The bride and her father danced to “Daddy’s Little Girl” by Michael Buble. The groom and his mother danced to “Blessed” by Elton John.
A bridal shower was given in the bride’s honor at Comfort Inn and Suites by her matron of honor, Denise Call. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bride’s and groom’s parents at the Goodfellowship Club in Cumberland.
The couple enjoyed a week-long honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas. They are currently residing in Cumberland.

Robert Jeffrey Bonser and Rebecca Kathleen Mathews were united in marriage Sept. 3, 2012 in an outdoor ceremony at the Hayloft in Rockwood. The groom’s father, Pastor Robert Bonser, presided over the double ring ceremony and delivered a message from Genesis 2:15-25 entitled “A Bond of Grace.”

On Oct. 15, 2011, Amber Corinne Bailey and Tyler Patrick Larkin were united in marriage in front of family and friends. The double ring ceremony took place at Centre Street United Methodist Church, which was the church of the bride’s childhood. The Rev. Ann W. Abbey Alexandra Bond and Cpl. Braxten Ray Brodie were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Ridgeview Valley in McHenry. The outdoor, double ring ceremony was officiated by Shon Brodie, uncle of the groom. A retired sergeant major of the United States Marine Corps, Shon serves as a bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fredericksburg, Va.
