ROCKY GAP — On July 2, 2011, Jaime Lynn Gordon and Scott Matthew Perrin were united in marriage in an outdoor ceremony at Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Harold McClay.
The bride is the daughter of William and Janet Knetzer of Oldtown and the late Edward Gordon, and is the granddaughter of Marie Knetzer, Pittsburgh, Pa., and the late William Knetzer, the late Alexander and Isabel McCormick, the late James Gordon and the late Annabel Gordon.
The groom is the son of Fred and Debbie Perrin of Flintstone and is the grandson of Robert and Martha Lee Perrin and Ruby Roby and the late Donald Roby, all of Cumberland.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. Taryn Parks, sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Johnson, Jeannine Johnson and Sarah Johnson, all nieces of the bride. Emily Johnson and Corin Headley, both nieces of the bride, served as junior bridesmaids. Kerstin Headley, Madison Johnson and Natalie Miller, all nieces of the bride, served as flower girls.
Jeff Perrin, brother of the groom served as the best man. Groomsmen were Mike Johnson, John Johnson, Erick Johnson and Kevin Johnson, all brothers of the bride, and Ed Parks, brother-in-law of the bride. Brady Shaffer, cousin of the groom, served as the ring bearer.
Tyler Shaffer, cousin of the groom, greeted guests as they arrived for the wedding. Jacob Johnson, nephew of the bride, and Kim Mullan, friend of the bride and groom, handed out programs, while Conner Johnson and David Johnson, both nephews of the bride, handed out bubbles.
There was a special arrangement of flowers in memory of the bride’s father and grandparents and the groom’s grandfather.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Allegany Museum. The couple was transported to the reception in a 1929 Ford Model A driven by Neil Furlow.
At the reception, guests were entertained by DJ Eric Mellotte. Catering for the reception was provided by Olive Branch Catering. Photography for the wedding and reception was provided by Imagine Photography. Flowers for the wedding were provided by PharmaCare Floral of Cumberland.
The bride and groom danced their first dance to “Nothing Like This” by Rascal Flatts. The bride and her father danced to “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle and the groom and his mother danced to “Time of My Life” by David Cook.
The cake was made by Skeeter Williams. It was a three-tier pink champagne cake with a Mickey and Minnie Mouse cake topper, the bride’s choice, and bride and groom rubber duckies, the groom’s choice. There were also six satellite cakes in the flavors of red velvet, strawberry and yellow. The cake was cut by Patty McCormick and Elaine Coakley, aunts of the groom.
The bride was the guest of honor at a bridal shower hosted by Debbie Perrin, the groom’s mother, Janet Knetzer, the bride’s mother, Angie Johnson, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jennifer Hoover, a friend of both the bride and groom.
The rehearsal dinner was held at the Clover Hill Pavilion at Rocky Gap State Park. The bride was surprised with an ice cream cake to celebrate her 30th birthday, which was that same day.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Fort Myers Beach, Fla., in September 2011.
Scott and Jaime reside in LaVale. Scott is the CFO at Mountain Laurel Medical Center in Oakland and Jaime works for the Western Maryland Health System Foundation as a development assistant.

On Oct. 15, 2011, Amber Corinne Bailey and Tyler Patrick Larkin were united in marriage in front of family and friends. The double ring ceremony took place at Centre Street United Methodist Church, which was the church of the bride’s childhood. The Rev. Ann W. Atkins, pastor of Centre Street United Methodist Church, performed the double ring ceremony. Heather Haines, church organist, provided music for the traditional Christian ceremony.

Abbey Alexandra Bond and Cpl. Braxten Ray Brodie were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Ridgeview Valley in McHenry. The outdoor, double ring ceremony was officiated by Shon Brodie, uncle of the groom. A retired sergeant major of the United States Marine Corps, Shon serves as a bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fredericksburg, Va.
