COZUMEL, Mexico — Katie Jo Eberly and Timothy Michael Clare were married on Dec. 22, 2008. The ceremony and reception were held on the beach at the Hotel Malia in Cozumel.
Katie is the daughter of Chuck and Linda Eberly of Cumberland, and the granddaughter of Don and Terry Spangler, also of Cumberland. She is a 2004 graduate of Fort Hill High School and a December 2007 graduate of McDaniel College in Westminster, Md., with a bachelors degree in business administration. Katie is working at ATK as the quality management systems implementer and ISO specialist.
Tim is the son of Joe and Patty Clare of Aurora, N.Y. He is a 2003 graduate of Lansing High School and a May 2007 graduate of McDaniel College in Westminster, with a bachelors degree in sociology/criminal justice. He is a first lieutenant, fire direction officer and unit movement officer with the United States Army and is currently deployed, serving our country in Afghanistan.
The bride was escorted by her father down the sandy beach lined with tropical colored rose petals.
Attending the bride was matron of honor Bridgitt Rhodes, sister of the bride, and serving as her bridesmaid was Mallory Clare, sister of the groom.
Attending the groom was his best man, Joe Clare, father of the groom, followed by his groomsman, Nathan Rhodes, brother-in-law of the bride.
Katie and Tim enjoyed their honeymoon aboard the Carnival Liberty cruise ship docking at Cozumel, Mexico, Grand Cayman Islands and Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
