Hartman-Cosner vows exchanged one year ago

FOUNTAIN, W.Va. – Mindy Lynn Cosner and Devon Lee Hartman were united in marriage June 28, 2008, at the Fountain United Brethren Church with the Rev. Daryl Elliot officiating.

Mindy is the daughter of Arlie "Eddie" and Vicky Cosner of Fountainhead. Mindy is a 1998 graduate of Keyser High School.

Devon is the son of Paul and Vickie Hartman of Burlington.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white strapless princess-line gown with a semi-cathedral train. The gown was trimmed in lavender embroidery, crystal and pearl beading and sequins with a lace-up bodice back. She carried a bouquet of lavender, sage and white roses accented with light purple, sage and iridescent ribbon and beads.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt, vest and tie with a boutonniere of a lavender, sage and white accent flowers.

Matron of honor was Christa Davies of Burlington. She wore a satin chiffon tea-length dress in lavender. She carried a bouquet of lavender, sage and white roses with iridescent ribbon and pearl sprays. The bridesmaids were Misty Kane and Lindsey Kane of Keyser and Tyra Snyder of Augusta. The bridesmaids wore satin chiffon tea-length dresses in the color of lettuce and carried bouquets of lavender and white roses with lavender ribbons and pearl sprays.

The best man was Craig Gravely of Augusta. Groomsmen were Roy Raines Jr. of Purgittsville and J.D. Largent and Kevin Scott, both of Junction. They wore black tuxedos with white shirts, vests and ties. The best man wore a lavender rose boutonniere with white rose accent flowers and a sage ribbon. The groomsmen wore lavender rose boutonnieres with sage rose accent flowers and a white ribbon.

The flower girl was Emily Hartman, daughter of the bride and groom. She wore a princess A-line dress with spaghetti straps and trimmed in lavender with a lace-up bodice back to mimic her mommy. She had a flower basket decorated with lavender and sage roses and ribbons. The ring bearer was Austin Hartman, son of the bride and groom. He wore a black tuxedo with white shirt, vest and tie to mimic his dad. The rings were carried on a white pillow decorated with lavender and sage ribbons.

Music was provided by Rev. Elliott's wife, RuthAnn Elliot.

The reception was held at, and catered by, Wind Lea Conference and Banquet Center, Keyser. The couple shared their first dance to "Lost in This Moment With You" by Big and Rich. A three-tier cake was decorated with lavender and sage roses with a lavender fountain surrounded by four side cakes and accented with a heart topper with the couple's names and wedding date. The cake was created by Bonnie Goebel of Frostburg, Md.

The couple and their children honeymooned in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The family currently resides in Burlington.
