Holland, Harding wedding
CUMBERLAND — Jessica Lee Harding and Michael David Holland exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
The bride was given away by her parents, Gregory and Sharon Harding, Cumberland. She wore a mermaid silhouette gown with handmade French alencon white lace. The gown had a detachable bottom and train, transforming the gown into cocktail-length for the reception. The gown was trimmed with a Tiffany blue sash at the waist, with an alencon bolero jacket and mantilla-length veil trimmed with alencon lace. The dress was designed and executed by Julia Louise Miltenberger.
The church was decorated with two white altar arrangements with lilies and roses. Candles were lit by Jessica’s mother, Sharon Harding, and Michael’s honorary guest, Betty Llewelyn. Kelly Pardee, cousin of the bride, sang “Holy Ground” and passages were read by Jessica’s aunts, Kathy Lorelli, MaryJo Mytrysak and Ann Mardo.
Serving as maids of honor were Amy Harding-Bowser, sister of the bride, and Bethany Whitacre-Beatty, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tracie Squires-Riffey, Tara Deal-Fair, Bethany Hughes-Gray, Deanna Harding-Martin and Lauren Bowser, niece of the bride. The bridesmaids wore black chiffon strapless cocktail-length dresses by Watters. The flower girl was Claire Breighner and she wore a white floor-length white chiffon dress with chiffon rosettes. The girls all carried white bouquets of assorted lilies and roses accented with Tiffany blue ribbon and pearls.
The groom wore a traditional black tuxedo with a white vest.
Serving as best men were Brian Breighner and Ted Kinsal, both friends of the groom. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black vests. Ushers were Jim Boyd, Tim Murphy, John Bean, Mike Nines and Cody Harding.
Paul Green escorted the couple in his 1949 Silver Wreath Rolls Royce to a cocktail hour at the couple’s restaurant, The Baltimore St. Grill, in Downtown Cumberland. Following the cocktail hour, the reception was held at Windsor Hall, Cumberland. The reception was conducted and decorated by Barry Neilis and catered by Guisippi’s Restaurant, Frostburg. The wedding cake and groom’s cake was done by Jennifer Watson of Jennifer’s Desserts, Cumberland.
Photography was by Michelle Zegles of ChrisStudio. Music throughout the evening was provided by Brian McDermott and Luke Williams. The couple danced their first dance to “Perfect Circle” by REM.
A Sunday brunch was held in the couple honor at the bride’s parent house.
The couple honeymooned at The Greenbrier in White Sulfur Springs, W.Va.
