Emerick, Kitzmiller wedding


CUMBERLAND — Ms. Tricia L. Kitzmiller and Kenny M. Emerick were united in marriage on Sunday, July 27, 2008, on the beach in Ocean City, Md. The double ring ceremony was officiated by The Rev. Geoff Wheeler.

The bride is the daughter of Rusty and Debbie Kitzmiller, of Cumberland. She is the granddaughter of Russell and Beulah Kitzmiller of Rawlings, and Richard and the late Patricia Daugherty of LaVale. The groom is the son of Kenny and Jeannie Emerick, of Wellersburg, Pa.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and was escorted down the beach by her father. Allison Kitzmiller, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Jeff Raines, friend of the groom, was the best man. Noah Blank, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer.

The bride wore a white halter, A-line gown. The gown had a beaded bodice and empire waist with a chiffon sweep train.

Guests attended a dinner reception at Rocky Gap State Park on Aug. 16, 2008. The couple resides in Cresaptown and plan to honeymoon in St. Lucia.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Calvary Christian Academy and a 2002 and 2008 graduate of Frostburg State University with a master’s degree in education in curriculum and instruction. Tricia is a high school mathematics teacher at Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg.

The groom is a 1994 graduate of Meyersdale Area High School and a 1998 graduate of Frostburg State University earning a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is currently employed as the textbook manager for Frostburg State University.

Tricia and Kenny would like to thank all of their family and friends who helped to celebrate their special day.
