KEY WEST, Fla. — Allison Joy Hedrick and Eric Brandon Smith were united in marriage on March 22, 2012. The double ring ceremony took place at Smathers Beach, Key West, with 32 guests attending. A reception followed at the Roof Top Café in Old Town, Key West.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Joyce Hedrick, Ridgeley, W.Va., and the granddaughter of Frances Heavner and the late Glover “Ed” Heavner, Fort Ashby, W.Va., and the late Pearl and Alvin Hedrick, Short Gap, W.Va. She is a 1995 graduate of Frankfort High School and a 1999 graduate of West Virginia University with bachelor's degrees in finance and accounting.
The groom is the son of Homer Smith II, Elkview, W.Va., and Bill and Pat Stone, Kingwood, W.Va., and the grandson of Bill and Norma Walls, Scott Depot, W.Va., and the late Homer and Sarah Smith, Elkview, W.Va. He is a 1997 graduate of Preston County High School, Kingwood, W.Va., and a 2002 graduate of West Virginia University, with a bachelor's degree in sport management and a master’s degree in business administration from St. Thomas University, Miami Gardens.
Best man was Nick Fitzwater, Charleston, W.Va. Matron of honor was Kara Combs, Martinsburg, W.Va., and maid of honor was Lori Mielecki, Morgantown, W.Va.
The bride and groom would like to thank their family and friends for traveling to The Florida Keys to celebrate their special day with them.
The couple resides in Morgantown.
