FROSTBURG — Michelle Eileen Gordon and Lee Beeman were united in marriage June 25, 2011. The double ring ceremony took place at the Frostburg United Methodist Church, with the Rev. George Harpold officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Hilda Gordon, Frostburg. She is a 2007 graduate of Beall High School and a 2009 graduate of Allegany College of Maryland, with an associate’s degree in nursing. She is currently employed at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse.
The groom is the son of Terry and Lori Beeman, Westernport, and the grandson of Roger and Virginia Bennett, Barton, and Don and Claudia Beeman, Barton. He is a 2007 graduate of Beall High School and a 2011 graduate of Frostburg State University, with a bachelor’s degree in history and law and society. Lee is enrolled in the West Virginia University College of Law. He is currently employed as a law clerk at Kirkwood & Rogers, PA.
Serving as matron of honor was the bride's sister, Karen Gordon-Fiorita. Bridesmaids were Crimson Jeffries, friend of the bride; Jamie Grove, friend of the bride; Megan Batzel, friend of the bride; and Audriana Beckman, friend of the bride.
Flower girls were Chiara Fiorita, niece of the bride, and Erica Bennett, cousin of the groom.
Serving as best man was the groom's brother, Ryan Beeman. Groomsmen were Stephen Fazenbaker, friend of the groom; Joe Miltenberger, friend of the groom; Jacob Layton, friend of the groom; and David Knotts, friend of the groom.
Ring bearers were Owen Cooper, cousin of the groom, and Cameron Cooper, cousin of the groom.
Serving as attendants were Eric Smith, cousin of the groom; Ava Snyder, friend of the bride; Ella Snyder, friend of the bride; Madison Stevens, friend of the bride; and Allen Stevens, friend of the bride.
Singing for the ceremony were Janet Slayton, friend of the bride, and Cheyenne Jeffries, friend of the bride.
A reception immediately followed the ceremony at the Finzel Fire Hall. Dinner was catered by George Pappas. The cake was crafted by Tracy Smith, aunt of the groom. The flowers for the ceremony and reception were provided by Martin's Florist. DJ services were provided by Mike Whitehead, photography by G&G Studios and videography by Phase One.
The bride and groom spent their honeymoon on a 10-day cruise to the Caribbean.
The bride and groom would like to thank our family and friends for sharing with us the first day of our life together. We feel especially lucky to have so many special people in our lives.

Robert Jeffrey Bonser and Rebecca Kathleen Mathews were united in marriage Sept. 3, 2012 in an outdoor ceremony at the Hayloft in Rockwood. The groom’s father, Pastor Robert Bonser, presided over the double ring ceremony and delivered a message from Genesis 2:15-25 entitled “A Bond of Grace.”

On Oct. 15, 2011, Amber Corinne Bailey and Tyler Patrick Larkin were united in marriage in front of family and friends. The double ring ceremony took place at Centre Street United Methodist Church, which was the church of the bride’s childhood. The Rev. Ann W. Atkins, pastor of Centre Street United Methodist Church, performed the double ring ceremony. Heather Haines, church organist, provided music for the traditional Christian ceremony.

Abbey Alexandra Bond and Cpl. Braxten Ray Brodie were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Ridgeview Valley in McHenry. The outdoor, double ring ceremony was officiated by Shon Brodie, uncle of the groom. A retired sergeant major of the United States Marine Corps, Shon serves as a bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fredericksburg, Va.

The outdoor ceremony took place on a sunny autumn afternoon along the scenic Potomac River at Bond’s Landing in Green Ridge State Forest. On July 9, 2011, under the pergola on the garden patio of Cortland Mansion in Hagerstown, Courtney Lynn Bennett and Robert Michael Taylor were married. These best friends became man and wife in a double ring ceremony officiated by Michael Mudge, pastor of The House of Bethany in Cumberland.
