KEYSER, W.Va. — Keyser High School is hosting the AA/A Region 2 wrestling tournament this weekend. Matches will begin on Friday at 4 p.m. with the first round of the championship bracket. Other rounds to be wrestled will be the championship quarter- and semi-finals, and the first two rounds and quarter-finals of consolation matches.
Saturdays session begins at 10:30 a.m. with consolation semi-finals. Place finals for third and fifth will be followed with the championship finals. The top six place winners will receive awards with the top four place winners advancing to the State Tournament, Feb. 21-23 in Huntington.
Teams participating are Berkeley Springs, Braxton County, Bridgeport, Frankfort, Grafton, Keyser, Liberty-Harrison, Lincoln, Moorefield, Notre Dame, Petersburg, Philip Barbour, Robert C. Byrd, and South Harrison.
