CRESAPTOWN — Karly Hipsley posted a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds Tuesday to lead Calvary over Faith 42-23 in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference contest in Cresaptown.
Hipsley had team highs in both points and rebounds, and added five steals and three blocks. Savannah Reed added 10 points and seven boards, and Kerenne Shaffer sported matching sevens in points and rebounds. Peyton Emerick had five rebounds and four steals to go with her nine points.
Chesni Ultis, despite being held scoreless, was credited by Head Coach Rusty Kitzmiller for her outstanding defense in the Eagles’ box-and-1 scheme. She held Faith’s leading scorer, Ally Romine, scoreless.
The Eagles (8-4, 4-2 MDCC) stay at home to play undefeated Shalom on Friday.
