Frankfort playoff game tickets on sale

SHORT GAP, W.Va. — Advance sale tickets for Friday’s Frankfort at Bridgeport West Virginia state playoff football game will be available at Frankfort High School until noon Friday.

 

FH-Brunswick tickets go on sale Thursday at Fort Hill

CUMBERLAND — Gates at Greenway Avenue Stadium for Friday’s Maryland 1A West Region championship football game between Fort Hill and Brunswick will open at 4:45 p.m. Advance tickets, however, will be sold Thursday and Friday in the main office of Fort Hill High School.

Fort Hill will honor season ticket holders their seats from the regular season, but a general admission ticket must by purchased for admittance into the stadium on Friday.

The game between the Railroaders and the Sentinels kicks off at 7 p.m.

 

Allegany-Fort Hill alumni basketball game Nov. 24

CUMBERLAND — An Allegany-Fort Hill alumni basketball game will take place Saturday, Nov. 24, 8:30 p.m., at Bishop Walsh School for graduated alumni prior to 2008. A social gathering will follow the game.

Allegany Gridiron Club meets tonight

CUMBERLAND — The Allegany Gridiron Club will meet today, 6 p.m., in the Allegany Library. The football banquet will be discussed.

 

Basketball clinic Nov. 24 in Keyser

KEYSER, W.Va. — The Keyser High School Class of 1983 will hold a basketball clinic Saturday, Nov. 24 in the multipurpose building behind the Keyser Presbyterian Church on Mineral Street in Keyser. Pre-registration is required by Nov. 21.

Erick Green, Keyser Class of 1983, will be the clinic instructor. Sessions for grades 3-5 and grades 6-8 are available.

    Patrick Sines drove in three runs for Grantsville Post 214 in an 8-5 win over Prospect, Ohio at the Hillbilly Hardball Classic on Saturday.
    Evan Rodeheaver got the win, allowing three earned runs on seven hits in a complete game.
