Berlin blasts BW

BERLIN, Pa. — Gina Trulick was involved on eight of Berlin’s nine goals during the Mountaineers’ 9-1 win over Bishop Walsh Monday afternoon.

Trulick finished with five goals and three assists in the win, completing the hat trick less than 24 minutes into the first half. All five of her goals were scored unassisted.

Erica Craig also had a hat trick for the Mountaineers, who outshot the Spartans 25-10.

Rachel O’Rourke scored on Katherine Dwyer’s assist in the first half for Bishop Walsh’s only goal.

Mariah Riley had four saves for Berlin and Brittany Coffman had 13 for BW.

The Spartans (5-10-1) play their Homecoming game on Friday against Hancock.
