Frostburg Baseball League sets signup dates
FROSTBURG — The Frostburg Baseball League will be holding registrations for the upcoming season on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon, and Tuesday, Feb. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Frostburg Community Center.
Any boy or girl ages 5 to 12 as of April 30 is eligible to participate.

PenMar-WV League to meet
RIDGELEY, W.Va. — The PenMar-WV Semi-Pro Baseball League will hold a meeting Saturday, 5 p.m., at the Ridgeley American Legion for coaches and league officials.
The meeting’s agenda will include confirming the date for the fourth annual golf tournament at Rocky Gap.
The wooden bat league had five teams last year: the Tri-State Titans, Oakland Oaks, West Virginia Powerhouse, Cumberland Orioles and Morgantown.
The league is recruiting new teams from all surrounding areas and any players looking into a team for the summer.

Bishop Walsh boosters to meet
CUMBERLAND — The Bishop Walsh Athletic Association will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
Southern freshmen top Allegany in OT
OAKLAND — The Southern freshmen defeated Allegany 36-34 in overtime Saturday at Southern. Tyler Fazenbaker led Southern with 17 points, while Nate Green scored 11 for Allegany.
Southern (9-4) will play Friday at Preston County.
