BOONSBORO — Fourth-seeded Boonsboro knocked off fifth-seeded Northern, 25-14, 25-9 and 25-21 in their region quarterfinal.

Boonsboro (8-6) will play at top-seeded Smithsburg in Wednesday’s semifinal round.

Kayla Porter had four service points, two aces, eight kills and eight digs, Kaitlyn Yommer seven points, four aces, two kills and three digs and Amanda Monahan six points, four aces and seven digs for Northern (9-8). Tori Devine added four kills and seven digs and Rhiannon Dodge had 14 assists for the Huskies.
