Final Dapper Dan sign-ups today
CUMBERLAND — The Dapper Dan Little League will hold its final sign-ups today from 9 a.m. until noon at the Riverside YMCA on Kelly Road.
Any player in the tri-state area ages 4-12 as of April 30 is eligible. Registration fees will also be collected at the time of sign-ups. Proof of age is also needed for any new player. Online sign-ups will continue until March 25 on the Dapper Dan’s website www.dapperdanclub.com.

WVU hires
JaJuan Seider
as RB coach
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — JaJuan Seider is rejoining West Virginia’s football program as running backs coach.
Head coach Dana Holgorsen announced Seider’s hiring Friday night.
Seider replaces Robert Gillespie, who was hired last week at Tennessee.
Seider has been running backs coach and recruiting coordinator at Marshall since 2010. He was a graduate assistant at West Virginia in 2008 and 2009.

Patrick Sines drove in three runs for Grantsville Post 214 in an 8-5 win over Prospect, Ohio at the Hillbilly Hardball Classic on Saturday.
Evan Rodeheaver got the win, allowing three earned runs on seven hits in a complete game. -
Shroyer hurls Barrelville ODC to victory
Brandon Shroyer pitched a complete game gem, allowing two runs on two hits with nine strikeouts and three walks for Barrelville Outdoor Club in a 4-2 win over Personal Best in Rec League baseball Monday evening at Dickel Field.
