Alco Grid club seeks officer nominations
CUMBERLAND — The Allegany Gridiron Club will have an election of officers at the January meeting. Any ideas for nominations can be emailed to Tammy Shook at tlshook@gmail.com.
Gebhart, Southern freshmen beat Alco
CUMBERLAND — Blake Gebhart scored 19 points to lead Southern past Allegany, 47-39, during the Campers freshman basketball opener at Allegany.
Bryson Banard gave the Rams 12 points and Tristan Baker added 11 in the win.
Jason Copman scored 18 points to lead the Campers, while Bryson Shepherd finished with nine.
Allegany (0-1) plays on Mountain Ridge on Thursday.
