KEYSER, W.Va. — Five girls scored in double figures, led by Jenna McAtee’s game-high 20 points, as Potomac State College had no trouble with CCAC-South in an 86-34 victory Monday evening at PSC’s Dana G. Lough Gymnasium.
McAtee made seven baskets, including half of the Catamounts’ six three-pointers, and sank 3 of 4 free throws for her game-high total. Teammates Morgan Wright scored 13, Rachel Waibogha 11 and Lindsey Miller and Linsie Linaburg each had 10 points. Alexis Steele, with the other three three-pointers, finished with nine points.
Waibogha had a double-double with 13 rebounds and Sierrah Blomquist had four assists.
Ashley Albright led CCAC-South with 17 points. She was the only player for South to hit in double figures.
Potomac State dominated from start to finish, building a 38-18 halftime lead and outscored South 48-16 in the second half.
The Catamounts improved to 5-13 overall and 4-1 in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference. On Wednesday, Potomac State visits Butler for a 5 p.m. game.
