American Legion took full advantage of its six hits and numerous walks they drew to cruise by Hite Roofing Thursday evening at Donahue Field.
Legion scored at least two runs in every one of the first four innings. It got three in the first, and added two more in the second and another two in the third. The final four runs came across the plate in the fourth.
Post 13 is now 11-3, and plays again today when it travels to play Sweitzer, Simson and Associates at Southern High School.
Kody Boyer led Legion with a pair of doubles, and Matt Taylor drove in a couple runs with a triple. Mike Bradford and Dylan Norris had one double each.
Hite Roofing got a double and a single from Shane Malloy, and two singles apiece from John Taylor and Roger Piper.
