Chessie Federal Credit Union improved to 14-1-1 Wednesday evening with a five-inning, 10-run win over the Fort Ashby Lions.
Chessie flew out of the gates with 10 runs and seven hits in the first inning. Josh Jenkins hit a bases-loaded double that highlighted the stretch. After getting seven hits in the first, Chessie collected just four more hits over the ensuing four innings.
Josh Neilson finished with two singles and a double in the win. Blaine Leasure had a two-run single, and Corey Greig had an RBI single and scored three times.
Cody Weese and Cody Spotts had one double each for Fort Ashby.
Chessie plays gain tonight at Lions Field against Personal Best.
