Accident sends man to hospital - 05/13
A 65-year-old McHenry man was transported to Garrett County Memorial Hospital by Northern Garrett Rescue Squad for injuries sustained during an auto accident Saturday. The accident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Garrett Highway at Friendsville Road, Maryland State Police said.

Man charged in sexual assault - 05/13
Cumberland Police officers on Saturday, arrested Roger Martz, 45, of Cumberland on a second-degree sexual assault charge and other charges. Martz was arrested during a traffic stop.

Frostburg man held without bond - 05/13
On Saturday, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department served three arrest warrants on Joshua Ian Cline, 36, of Frostburg. Cline had two circuit court warrants for failure to appear and a warrant charging him with burglary and other charges, a press release from the Cumberland Police Department said.
