OAKLAND — One person was taken to Garrett Memorial Hospital after a van and automobile collided Sunday afternoon at state Route 135 and Broadford Road, according to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office.
An unidentified passenger in a vehicle driven by Maria D. Delilo, 36, of Keyser, W.Va., was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the 12:35 p.m. crash.
Police said Delilo was operating a 2012 Chrysler minivan when she was struck by a 1997 Oldsmobile passenger car operated by Karl Albert Ringler, 85, of Salisbury, Pa.
No charges were filed although Ringer was found at fault in the mishap, police said.
