ROCKWOOD, Pa. — A 40-year-old Rockwood man remained jailed Tuesday in the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Hampshire County in connection with an alleged domestic assault last week in Somerset County.
Wayne L. Simms was located recently in Bur-lington, W.Va., where he was arrested in connection with charges pending in Somerset County.
Simms will be returned to Somerset County through extradition proceedings to face charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
The charges stem from the alleged assault of a 31-year-old woman at a residence on Water Level Road in Milford Township on Jan. 16 at about 12:30 a.m., according to state police at Somerset.
