KEYSER, W. Va. — An East Piedmont Street man suffered a minor stab wound and a second man was charged with malicious wounding and jailed in connection with the Thursday night incident, Keyser Police said.
The 48-year-old victim was taken by Keyser EMS to Potomac Valley Hospital for injuries that police said were apparently not of a life-threatening nature.
Responding to the 7:53 p.m. complaint, Keyser Police assisted by the Mineral County Sheriff’s Department arrested Harold J. Bosley, 60, of the same address as the victim. He was charged with malicious wounding and unlawful assault and failure to comply with a lawful order. A Mineral County magistrate set bond at $2,000.
Police said the victim suffered a wound in the area of his left armpit. A 7-inch, hunting-style knife was seized at the scene as possible evidence. Alcohol was believed to be a factor in the incident, police said.
