SOMERSET, Pa. — A 75-year-old Somerset man was taken to Somerset Hospital on Thursday afternoon following a wreck on Somerset Pike and Penn Avenue, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Kenneth B. Phillippi was driving a 1999 Ford Ranger north on Somerset Pike while Richard J. Fereza, 48, of Somerset was turning onto the road to head south in a 1999 GMC 3500 truck around 4:30 p.m.
The front of Phillippi’s truck impacted the GMC truck behind the cab on the driver’s side, police said.
Fereza was cited in the accident and Phillippi’s truck was towed from the scene.
Sipesville Fire Department also responded.
