CUMBERLAND — A juvenile male, no age given, was arrested by city police at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after he allegedly used a pipe to break a window in a family member’s automobile and punched a male victim.
The incident took place in the 800 block of Mount Royal Avenue.
The juvenile was transported by the Department of Juvenile Services to Western Maryland Children’s Center in Washington County.
Also on Christmas, about 3 a.m., Matthew Stephen Tomczewski, 20, Cumberland, was arrested after city police went to the 1600 block of Frederick Street to check on a report of domestic assault.
Officers reported evidence of injury to the female victim who said she had been shoved to the ground.
Tomczewski was released pending trial.
