BEDFORD, Pa. — A Breezewood man who allegedly threatened to kill everyone at his place of employment and in the local bank made a reference to the Sandy Hook shootings when he said, “like at the school the other day,” according to the Bedford County district attorney.
Pennsylvania State Police charged Steven Andrew Miller, 61, with two felony counts of terroristic threats.
Around noon Wednesday, Miller reportedly went to Susquehanna Bank in East Providence Township to cash his paycheck and threatened to kill his co-workers at Weis Market and then return to the bank to kill those employees.
Based on these threats, Weis Market was evacuated and police located Miller and took him into custody. Miller was held in Bedford County Jail on $150,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
