LAVALE — At least one person was injured when a dump truck and a pickup truck collided Wednesday morning on U.S. Route 40 in the area of Red Hill, according to the Allegany County 911 center.
The victim was taken by ambulance to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center following the 9:38 a.m. crash.
The Allegany County Bureau of Police investigated.
LaVale and Clarysville volunteer fire companies re-sponded to the scene along with LaVale Rescue Squad and Frostburg Area Ambulance Service.
