CUMBERLAND — A 50-year-old city man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he allegedly assaulted a woman during a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Grand Avenue, Cumberland Police said.
Walter Harold Apple was charged with second-degree assault following the 2:36 p.m. complaint.
Apple was released after posting $3,000 bond, pending trial in district court.
Police observed injuries to the victim’s neck but she apparently did not request medical treatment.
