KEYSER, W.Va. — One person was flown by helicopter and a second taken by ambulance to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland following a single-vehicle accident early Friday in the New Creek area.
The Mineral County 911 Center said the accident occurred at about 5:40 a.m. on U.S. Route 50 at Ash Spring Run Road.
New Creek fire and ambulance volunteers, Burlington Volunteer Fire Department, Keyser EMS and Tri-Towns EMS responded along with the Maryland State Police medevac helicopter.
Deputy Saville of the Mineral County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
