ROMNEY, W.Va. — A motorist was flown to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland after a vehicle traveled out of control and overturned Monday on Jersey Mountain Road about 2 1/2 miles from U.S. Route 50, according to the Hampshire County 911 center.
Maryland State Police helicopter Trooper 5 flew the victim to the hospital following the 11:17 a.m. crash.
West Virginia State Police investigated.
No information was available concerning the identity of the driver or the extent of the injuries.
