CUMBERLAND — Cumberland Police arrested a city man upon investigating a domestic assault in progress at Race and Fourth streets Sunday.
Kevin C. McDonald, 29, was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct before being jailed on $5,000 bond set by a district court commissioner.
Police observed the victim’s injuries. She had reportedly been thrown to the ground and repeatedly kicked but did not seek immediate medical treatment.
