SOMERSET, Pa. — A Somerset County woman was fatally injured Sunday following a two-vehicle crash on Somerset Pike in Jenner Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Eva Kline, 70, of Sipes-ville, died of injuries after being taken to the Conemaugh Medical Center in Johnstown following the 11:35 a.m. crash, police said.
Kyle Updyke, 19, of Boswell was treated at the same medical facility and released, police said.
A 1999 Chevrolet Trail Blazer traveling northbound on Somerset Pike collided with a 2004 Toyota Corolla being driven southbound on Somerset Pike by Kline, according to Trooper Chris Kantner.
Police said the roadway was wet when the collision occurred.
The investigation included an accident reconstruction by state police.
Sipesville and Acosta volunteer fire departments also responded.
