BEDFORD, Pa. — A Pennsylvania woman and her passenger were taken to area hospitals after she wrecked her car on U.S. Route 30 on Friday afternoon and was found to be under the influence of heroin and Ecstasy by Pennsylvania State Police.
Tracie L. Riley, 27, no address available, was charged with aggravated assault while driving under the influence and with drug violations. She was taken to UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Fred P. Dixon, 36, no address available, was taken to Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown with serious injuries, police said.
The 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix they were traveling westbound in at 1:19 p.m. had struck the guardrail and then spun around. Drug paraphernalia was found in the car, police said.
Riley was jailed on $25,000 bond.
