CUMBERLAND — Residents’ help is being sought in the investigation of the recent theft of catalytic converters from 25 vehicles at unattended businesses on Kelly Road and Edison Avenue.
Allegany and Mineral County Crime Solvers said that last month catalytic converters were cut from buses, trucks and cars with use of an unknown tool, possibly a hand-held power tool.
The thefts remain under investigation by the Cumberland Police Department and the C3I Unit.
Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to contact Crime Solvers at 301-722-4300. Callers may remain anonymous and do not have to appear in court.
