12/27 - Deer Park man arrested
DEER PARK — Garrett County sheriff's deputies arrested a Deer Park man Thursday for driving under the influende, driving while intoxicated and violating a license restriction.
Sheriff's deputies were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle in the Hooker Street area of Deer Park and fond that the driver, Jonathan Robert Collins, 26, was driving under the influence. Collins was held in the Garrett County Detention Center but was released Friday.

Alexander Metz, 22, Westernport, was charged by Allegany County Bureau of Police with driving while impaired and driving under the influence of alcohol following a 2 a.m. accident on state Route 36 Saturday that sent two people to the hospital.

LAVALE — At least one person was injured when a dump truck and a pickup truck collided Wednesday morning on U.S. Route 40 in the area of Red Hill, according to the Allegany County 911 center.

Vehicles entered at Deer Park
OAKLAND — Theft of numerous items from 10 vehicles in the Deer Park area in July and August are under investigation by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office.
