FROSTBURG — Mary Joann Harris, 51, Frostburg, was arrested Saturday by the Allegany County Bureau of Police and charged with burglarizing a Piney Mountain Road home from August through November, according to Detective Warren T. Carter.
Carter said Harris took jewelry and money, some of which was recovered by police.
Harris was being held in the Allegany County Detention Center on $25,000 bond and is charged with five counts of first-degree burglary, four counts of theft $1,000 to $10,000 and one count of theft scheme $10,000 to $100,000 among other violations.
Authorities made the arrest following a week-long investigation.
