11/3 - City man jailed in domestic case
CUMBERLAND — A 19-year-old Cumberland man remained jailed Monday on $50,000 bond stemming from various charges related to an alleged domestic assault.
Jonathan Dalton Haller was arrested Sunday on a warrant containing charges of robbery, false imprisonment, theft less than $100 and second-degree assault, Cumberland Police said.
Haller remained jailed Monday at the Allegany County Detention Center following a bail review hearing in district court where the original bond of $50,000 was kept at the same amount, according to a detention center spokesman.
Cumberland Police said the victim said she was assaulted Oct. 25 and her purse taken after she and Haller had argued. Police searched the area without locating Haller.
The victim sustained injuries but apparently did not require medical treatment.
