Frostburg Police have busy weekend
FROSTBURG — Halloween weekend kept Frostburg Police on their toes, but no major incidents were reported.
From Thursday through Sunday, police handled almost 200 calls, including 22 traffic stops and 19 underage drinking violations, according to a report. In addition, police:
• issued three open container violations and five excessive noise violations.
• investigated two destruction of property complaints, seven disturbances and two assaults, including one on a police officer.
• made one driving while intoxicated arrest and one arrest for driving with a suspended license.
Early Sunday morning, police broke up a “large fight” at a Bowery Street tavern and charged three individuals with disorderly conduct, a report said.
