10/26 - Barton man faces assault charge
WESTERNPORT — A Barton man was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with second-degree assault.
Raymond Rockland Metz, 47, was arrested by police after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend while they were driving from Lonaconing to Westernport. Metz left the area prior to officers' arrival, but was located and taken into custody shortly thereafter.
Metz was taken before a District Court commissioner and held on $10,000 bond.
