Accident sends one to hospital
OAKLAND — A woman was hospitalized after a motor vehicle accident during the afternoon of Oct. 21.
Christopher Todd Guthrie was travelling west on Sand Flat Road in Oakland when he lost control of his vehicle. A passenger, Kathryn Elizabeth Seager, was transported by Northern Rescue Squad to Garrett County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Guthrie was cited for failing to control speed to avoid a collision and driving an uninsured vehicle.
