OAKLAND — A Mountain Lake Park man was taken to Garrett County Memorial Hospital Friday afternoon following an accident involving his motor scooter.
According to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office, Julian S. Ostrogorsky, 20, was traveling on the southbound shoulder of Garrett Highway when his scooter struck a parked vehicle near Sand Flat Road.
Ostrogorsky was cited for failing to control speed to avoid a collision and transported to Garrett Memorial by Southern Rescue Squad. Further information concerning his injuries were unavailable Saturday.
