10/22 - Business burglarized
GRANTSVILLE — Various items and an undisclosed sum of money was taken from Hardesty’s True Value Hardware Store at the Grantsville Plaza sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday.
Maryland State Police said the business was forcibly entered sometime between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

3/19 - Police seek armed robber
WILEY FORD, W.Va. — Mineral County authorities were searching Thursday evening for a lone suspect who robbed the Knobley Mountain Cafe at gunpoint.
State police and officers from the Mineral County Sheriff’s Department converged on the cafe, located on alternate Route 28 at Wiley Ford, around 6:10 p.m.
The suspect, a white man wearing a black ski mask, reportedly brandished a handgun, then fled on foot toward Ridgeley. He was described as wearing ripped jeans and a red flannel shirt.
Further information was not available Thursday night.
