Man accused of stealing
LOWER TURKEYFOOT, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police charged a Sandy Run Road man with stealing electricity from Somerset Rural Electric by tapping into the power lines.
Police said Mark A. Dugan, 48, of Somerset County, climbed a utility pole and bypassed an empty meter unit with two pieces of metal. Police said the electric was turned off in Dugan’s mobile home in April of 2007.
The estimated cost of the stolen electricity is $3,284, covering the period of time between April 1, 2007 and Sept. 9 this year.

3/19 - Police seek armed robber
WILEY FORD, W.Va. — Mineral County authorities were searching Thursday evening for a lone suspect who robbed the Knobley Mountain Cafe at gunpoint.
State police and officers from the Mineral County Sheriff’s Department converged on the cafe, located on alternate Route 28 at Wiley Ford, around 6:10 p.m.
The suspect, a white man wearing a black ski mask, reportedly brandished a handgun, then fled on foot toward Ridgeley. He was described as wearing ripped jeans and a red flannel shirt.
Further information was not available Thursday night.
