10/14 - Reward offered in daytime burglary


LAVALE — A reward of up to $1,500 is being offered by Allegany & Mineral County Crime Solvers for information leading to the person who broke into a Cash Valley Road residence during the afternoon of Oct. 1.

An occupant encountered the suspect and a brief struggle ensued before the suspect drove away.

Property valued at $1,200 was reported stolen during the daytime entry.

The suspect was de-scribed as a white man with tattoos on both sides of his neck. The vehicle was said to be a white car with “damage and paint transfer” on the rear fender, which displayed a decorative ribbon.
