OAKLAND — An 18-year-old Oakland woman was arrested Thursday after allegedly assaulting her two roommates at a Lewis B. Naylor Drive residence, the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office said.
Myka N. Guthrie was charged with two counts of second-degree assault in the 2 p.m. incident in which police said a 23-year-old male and 19-year-old female were assaulted. The female victim was taken to Garrett Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said. The male victim did not seek medical treatment.
Guthrie was released on her own recognizance by the District Court Commissioners Office.
