CUMBERLAND — A city man was arrested Wednesday on a charge stemming from the alleged theft of a vehicle from a Baker Street resident, Cumberland Police said.
Mark Feodor Smith Sr., 46, was charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and unauthorized removal of property and was jailed before posting $3,000 bond for pretrial release.
Police said the car keys were reported stolen Dec. 21.
The vehicle was located the next day several blocks away from where it had been taken.
