CUMBERLAND — City police allegedly recovered a large quantity of cocaine and crack cocaine from a vehicle pulled over for a stop sign violation on Grand Avenue at 10:45 p.m. Saturday.
Officers searched the vehicle of Mark Antonio Brown, 19, Baltimore, following a positive drug scan by a trained police dog. Brown originally gave officers a false name, they said.
The drugs reportedly were individually wrapped in plastic bags. A large sum of money was also recovered.
Charged with possession and intent to distribute, Brown remained in the Allegany County Detention Center Sunday on a bond of $150,000.
