SOMERSET, Pa. — A Somerset woman whose car ran into a tree and mailbox Monday afternoon was taken to the hospital and charged with a traffic violation by Pennsylvania State Police.
Patricia E. Conrad, 75, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt north on Water Level Road at 4:10 p.m. when she became distracted and traveled off the road, hit the tree and mailbox, and rolled multiple times before landing on the driver’s side, police said.
She was taken to Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown by Somerset EMS. The Somerset Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
